How fence contractors are vetted
One partner per area. You receive a structured case — municipality, where the fence runs, the height asked for, whether a retaining wall or a corner is involved — from a homeowner who has already said yes to being contacted. Not a shared lead, and not a list.
What a homeowner is promised
Shared with one vetted local business, only with your yes. Never a call list. This site is free to read and nothing on it is sponsored. We make money one way: when a homeowner asks us to, and only then, we pass their request to one vetted local fence contractor, and that contractor pays us a referral fee. We are not paid to say anything in particular. No figure on this site is supplied, reviewed or influenced by a contractor — every one is quoted from a bylaw or a statute, with the date we read it and a link to the document. Your details go to one business, never to a call list, and never to anyone without your explicit yes.
What we ask of a fencing partner
- Current insurance and WorkSafeBC coverage, and whatever licensing this work requires — checked before anything is shared.
- First contact within the agreed window, and a reply telling us the outcome so the case stays current.
- Willingness to be measured: contacted, appointment set, quoted, won or lost.
- No pressure selling, and no reselling a homeowner’s details to anyone.
Where this stands today
We are onboarding vetted local partners. Your request is saved and reviewed by a person; nothing is sold or passed to a call list.
